This course was designed for elementary teachers, K-6, with no STEM background. It uses a scaffolded learning experience with 5 books as the foundation. It builds on those books with STEM challenges that can be done with each book. Throughout this course you will get a brief overview of a few robots that can be used in an elementary classroom to support ELA. If you are looking to begin to incorporate STEM into your classroom, this is a great place to start. The first week of this course, a training kit will be delivered to your school or library for you to be able to complete the projects. It will be picked up on the date marked on your container. This course should take about 5 hours to complete.
